Presenter Phillip Schofield
With NEW Sidekick, Christine 'Yawn' Bleakley
Yet again, I have decided to do my weekly, armchair critique, of Dancing On Ice, giving a viewers view. I have given my views on Xfactor, Britain's Got Talent & Strictly Come Dancing, and this show, once before. But in this shows case, I have to say I can't Ice Skate, as my mum wouldn't allow me to have roller skates, or ice skates or a skate board, as a kid/teen in case I injured myself! (I was a clumsy kid who'd trip over a feather... But even so!!) I'm still a tad amazed, I was even allowed a bike to be honest! So my critique will be purely as a viewer's views, with no technical knowledge, or even rudimentary experience on skating!! This year, the lovely Holly Willoughby, will be replaced by, bland Christine Bleakley who I'm 'Not' a fan of! But despite not liking her, as a presenter, I will have an open mind for the show!! (Though I doubt very much, that she will win me round!)

This week the line up was Andy Whyment, Mark Rhodes, Charlene Tilton, Jorgie Porter, Chemmy Alcott, Andy Akinwolere & Heidi Range. The Skating begins & 1st up is Heidi........
1) Heidi Range & Andrei - Dancing to (ET) Heidi's 1st partner Sylvain, was injured in training, so she had to get use to her new one, Andrei close to the start of the show. She looked lovely & pretty in a short draped fabric & lace blueberry coloured dress. With long sheer lacy sleeves & torso with a draped fabric skirt & bust area, with a deep plunge back, the body area was decorated in gems. He wore a V-neck blueberry Lycra top & black trousers. She did really well, she looked confident on the ice, being 1st out can't be easy on the nerves! She looked very elegant with graceful lines, with arms & legs!
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (4.5) Katerina (3.5) = 12.5
2) Mark Rhodes & Frankie - Dancing to (I'm Still Standing) Cheeky chappie Mark, wore a V-neck, silver, Lycra, T-shirt, with a purple stripe, with a fuchsia stripe, either side, across his chest. worn with black trousers, with a fuchsia belt. His partner Frankie wore a matching swimsuit like dress, with spaghetti straps & the same 3 stripes at chest & matching ones in a downward pointing V at the hip, with a purple fringed skirt, in a V below it. As he was awful on the ice, in training, he mad a valiant effort! He was a bit shaky but OK
Judges Scores - Louie (2) Robin (3) Katerina (3) = 8
3) Charlene Tilton & Matt- Dancing to (Guilty) She looked cute in a navy, long sleeved dress with a wide V-neck neckline, that sat on the edge of her shoulders & a low V look back (with nude mesh) the V front & back edges were trimmed with blue gems. Matt wore a navy, sparkly, matching V-neck, long sleeved, Lycra, top & black trousers. It was a good 1st effort from her, she surprised me, a slight wobble on the ice, but a good confident 1st effort!
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (4) Katerina (4.5) = 13
4) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Skinny Love) Jorgie wore a very cute, very pretty, baby-doll dress, in a pale pink, so pale, that it's almost white! The chest area was encrusted with sparkling diamante's & her hair was pulled into a swishy, ponytail. He wore a matching pale pink vest top, V-neck with diamante stripes, worn with black trousers. She was extremely confident on the ice & put on an excellent performance on the ice. Her former ballet training showed in her graceful lines, she was very graceful, feminine & elegant!
Judges Scores - Louie (6) Robin (6.5) Katerina (6) = 18.5
5) Chemmy Alcott & Sean- Dancing to (Raise Your Glass) She wore an orange, sleeveless, leotard dress, with a low back & gold fringed skirt, and she wore her hair down. Her legs looked quite chunky, but that's no doubt muscle from skiing!! Sean wore a quite unattractive gold & orange, striped, satin, shirt, worn with black, leather look, trousers & a gold belt. She was fast moving & confident on the ice despite badly breaking a leg when skiing!! But I didn't find the content or routine very exciting!!
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (5.5) Katerina (6) = 16
6) Andy Akinwolere & Maria - Dancing to (Moves Like Jagger) He wore a black suit that had spangles on the jacket, worn with a sky blue, Lycra V-neck top with silver spangles on. She wore a shiny sky blue, leotard, with a long diagonal fringe, across the body. He was OK, not bad, he did a few lifts, like her on one hip, he can dance OK but he isn't that mesmerising to watch! If he was music he'd be lift music, there is something bland about him, he lacks the watchability factor!
Judges Scores - Louie (3.5) Robin (5) Katerina (5.5) = 14
7) Andy Whyment & Vicky - Dancing to (Walk This Way) Andy wore a glittery, black, un-tucked, shirt & black trousers, his partner Vicky, wore a glittery, black, shorts, playsuit. with a VERY low back & she wore black, knee length, pop socks, that made it look like she had knee length boots on. He made a surprisingly decent debut (Nothing like Corrie's Ashley Peacock, or Eastenders Mark <Todd Cartey> thankfully!) He had rhythm & balance, he was cheeky & fun to watch & looked pretty confident... he may be the dark horse to watch out for!
Judges Scores - Louie (4) Robin (4) Katerina (4) = 12
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom two by the judges votes was Andy Whyment & Mark Rhodes, with Heidi a close 3rd. But for me it was Andy Akinwolere & Chemmy Alcott, we will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see who the public agree with!!!!
The Results Show
The results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom two SAFE are.....
- Andy Whyment
- Charlene Tilton
- Jorgie Porter
- Chemmy Alcott
- Mark Rhodes
So that means its Andy Akinwolere V Heidi Range. I think Heidi was much more watchable than Andy, so lets see who is saved when they do their routine again!!?
- Louie - saves - Heidi
- Katerina - saves - Andy
- Robin - saves - Heidi
So it's bye bye Andy Akinwolere, which is who I would of dropped, as I found him the least watchable, of the seven tonight! So now it's a weeks wait to see how the other eight do!!?

Dancing On Ice, Show Two
This week the line up was Sam Nixon, Laila Morse, Jennifer Ellison, Matthew Wolfenden, Rosemary Connelly, Sebastien Foucan, Chico Slimani & Corey Feldman. The Skating begins & the 1st celeb up is Jennifer........
1) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (Need To Be Sure????? Maybe) She wore a short red dress, with a halter-necked bodice, 40's style, with a full cheerleader like skirt, and a white halter-neck collar, with 40's style hair, with finger-waves & a plaited chignon. Dan was in a red shirt, grey pinstriped trousers, white braces, plus a black & white print kipper tie. A decent confident performance, good lines & good speed on the ice, but for me not the most exciting of routines!!
Judges Scores - Louie (5.5) Robin (5) Katerina (5) = 15.5
2) Sam Nixon & Alex- Dancing to (Fascination) He wore an orangey red, satin, shirt, with sparkles on, with black trousers & a gold belt. Alex was in a cute, nude, sequinned, dress, with a short, ragged, hemmed. Orangey red, small, pompom trimmed, skirt & matching orangey red bra showing, peeping over the low neckline of the dress. Her hair was up in a 60's tousled bun, with a orangey red hair decoration. He did well, it was a fast, fun, confident effort, even the outfit was not the most flattering & made him look a bit like comedian Michael Mcintyre!!
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (5.5) Katerina (5.5) = 15.5
3) Rosemary Conley & Mark - Dancing to (Fernando) She wore a pale peach, long sleeved, V-neck, skaters dress, with 2 tones of pink & diamante jems, scattered at the front, with a criss-cross design coming out of the scattered ones & wrapping round the torso! Mark wore a sleeveless, Mandrin collared pale peach jewelled top with a half open, zip front, worn with black trousers. Rosemary stumbled & nearly fell at the start, but recovered well, she was graceful & elegant & to be able to do a handstand on partner Marks foot at the age of 65yrs has to be commended!
Judges Scores - Louie (3.5) Robin (4.5) Katerina (4.5) = 12.5
4) Laila Morse & Lukas - Dancing to (My Girl) 66yr Laila wore a knee length, silver grey, skaters dress, which flared out from under the bust, with long, silver grey, lace, sleeves & bodice area, her hair was tied back. He wore a white suit with a grey rhinestone encrusted silver grey T-shirt/vest. She put on a fair show for someone of her age & girth. But she is no 65yr Rosemary (Even with her slight stumble!) But hats of to her partner who lifted her. She has a shoulder injury but didn't mention it!
Judges Scores - Louie (3) Robin (3) Katerina (3.5) = 9.5
5) Sebastien Foucan & Brianne - Dancing to (Clocks) He wore a skin tight, sparkly, pale gold, Lycra, V-neck, T-shirt. With black trousers & a gold belt! Bri wore a gorgeous, skimpy, pale gold, skaters dress. He moved well on the ice & was quite exciting to watch, he moved well to the music & introduced a role on the ice into the routine.
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (6) Katerina (6.5) = 17.5
6) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Wild Thing) He was in a sheer, purple, rhinestone'd, V-neck, T-shirt, worn with black trousers. She wore a lovely sequinned blueberry bra & hot-pants with a sheer, sparkly, purple, long sleeved, V-neck, kaftan top, with a wide fringed hem. With matching sparkly knee length pop socks making it look like she is in knee high boots. Her hair was in a huge ponytail (If that hair's real, I'm well impressed...... & jealous!!) It started off a bit boring & cheesy & then it warmed up into a fast, impressive, very confident, performance, fun, with great lines & good musical timing! Only one thing let him down, he was to gentle for the song "Wild Thing" I'd of liked him to seem a bit more Wild, Aggressive & Sexual, than soft & smiley!
Judges Scores - Louie (6) Robin (6) Katerina (6.5) = 18.5
7) Corey Feldman & Brooke - Dancing to (Summer Of 69) The weird haired one, wore a black, satin, rhinestone studded shirt. Black trousers & a silver belt. Brooke wore a very short, skimpy, black dress, with a very low plunging back & a plunging V front, revealing a sparkly silver bra. Her hair was down & curly. A decent performance, fast paced, but a slight stumble/wobble during the pull through, but a good routine, which he pulled off!
Judges Scores - Louie (3.5) Robin (4) Katerina (3.5) = 11
8) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Give Me Everything) Matt wore a pair of black, leather, trousers & a black, leather, zip front, waistcoat, worn with a silver studded belt. Nina wore a sexy Gothic, look dress, with a black, leather, corset looking torso, with a sheer, halter-neck, yoke above, plus a diamante, rhinestone'd, waist area & a floaty, black, chiffon, handkerchief skirt, with knee length, sparkly, black, pop socks (Making it look like she was in knee length boots!) He is an extremely good skater, with high speed & great rhythm & musicality. He showed Corrie how the pull through's should be done! A very confident performance & a sexy, exciting to watch routine!
Judges Scores - Louie (7) Robin (6.5) Katerina (7) = 20.5
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom two by the judges votes was Laila Morse & Corey Feldman. For me it was the same, with Laila going. But we will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see if the public agree, as Laila will have an EastEnders fan-base!!!!
The Results Show
The results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom two SAFE are.....
- Rosemary Conley
- Matthew Wolfenden
- Jennifer Ellison
- Chico Slimani
- Sebastien Foucan
- Sam Nixon
So that means it is Corey Feldman V Laila Morse. I think Corey was slightly more watchable than Laila, so lets see who is saved when they do their routine again!!?
- Louie - Saves - Corey
- Katerina - Saves - Corey
- Robin - Saves - Corey
So it was farewell Laila, which was the right choice as she looked like she couldn't be arsed to make an effort on her 2nd performance, it was as if she was already resigned to going! She put up no fight to stay, unlike Corrie so there was no point giving her another chance!
***************
So Chico is safe!!
So Sebastien is safe!!..... I'm sure Jennifer will survive the public vote though...
So Heidi is safe!!...
So Matthew is safe!!... Sure Jorgie is too with the public she was fearless & brilliant!!
Judges save -
So its Corey V Charlene, Corey has to go Charlene is miles better than him!! Corey re did his dance to 'Opposites Attract' OK but still jerky & awkward looking, he never glides smoothly across the ice! Charlene did her 'Island in The Stream' routine, she had good posture & was much better than Corey, surly the judges must save her?
So it was farewell Corey, which was a about time, he of the stupid hair, and poor Michael Jackson moves, should of gone long before now!!
Dancing On Ice, Show Three
Sunday 22nd Jan, The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a dark charcoal, double breasted suit, with shiny lapels, a white shirt & shiny black satin tie, with a white hanky in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a extremely pretty, floor length, gold lame, V-necked, clingy dress, with small cap sleeves, which had a gradual draped, fish tail like, lower skirt, with a slight train, worn with her hair down & wavy piled on one side over her left shoulder. It was a stunning dress, and it fitted her beautifully, but she is so A-sexual you wouldn't look at her & go "corrrr" or "phwooor" in it! Hopefully, she will be a bit less wooden & cold today (fingers crossed) The theme is 'Movie Week', this week & ALL celebrity's will be dancing tonight & 1st up is Chico!!!.....
1) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (You've Lost That Loving Feeling) From 'Top Gun' He was in a khaki, Top Gun, style flying suit, in aviator sunglasses & holding a flying helmet under 1 arm! He passed the aviators & helmet to two guys in white naval uniforms, then went into his routine skating to a microphone for the 1st few bars of the song before joining his partner who was in a gorgeous, military style, short khaki dress & curly hair like Kelly McGillis. An excellent, fast paced, confident, performance by Chico, who told the story well within his chorography.
Judges Scores - Louie (6.5) Robin (5.5) Katerina (6) = 18
2) Rosemary Conley & Mark - Dancing to (Wind Beneath My Wings) From 'Beaches' She wore a aqua, long sleeved, skaters dress, with lace sleeves & yoke, with gems on bodice, he wore a matching aqua shirt, with black trousers & waistcoat, with gems on the waistcoat. An elegant, performance, she was dainty & flexible with good lines, but it wasn't an exciting routine.
Judges Scores - Louie (3) Robin (3.5) Katerina (4) = 10.5
3) Sam Nixon & Alex - Dancing to (Kung Fu Fighting) He wore a black, satin, Kung Fu shirt, with sparkles on, with black trousers & a black Kung Fu head band. She wore a pretty, sexy, short, navy satin, oriental dress, with a pink rose print, covered with gems, she had really funky slightly Geisha/Sumo like pin curled blonde hair. A fun speedy Kung Fu routine, enjoyable to watch!
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (5) Katerina (6.5) = 16
4) Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to (Rescue Me) From 'Sister Act' She wore a nuns habit, then whipped it off to reveal a skimpy white skaters dress, that was sheer on one side with silver gems covering her breast! Her hair was down curly & long. He wore a white shirt & jacket, with black trousers & tie. She looked lovely, but there were a few wobbles & a failed lift! She was graceful but the routine lacked excitement & watchability for me!
Judges Scores - Louie (3) Robin (3) Katerina (4.5) = 10.5
5) Corey Feldman & Brooke - Dancing to (Stand By Me) From 'One Of His Films, Stand By Me' The weird haired one, wore a amethyst, satiny, rhinestone striped shirt, with black trousers, she wore a matching cute baby doll dress with spaghetti straps, with her hair in a big plaited bun. An OK at best performance, still shaky & uncomfortable looking on the ice, and his odd lizard like face, pulled ugly contortions. He looked awkward & stiff shouldered, not an exciting performance, in places it was a tad painful to watch, I think he is gone tonight, unless somebody really messes up big time!!
Judges Scores - Louie (2.5) Robin (2.5) Katerina (3) = 8
6) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (Listen) From ?? She wore her hair up with an electric blue hair band around it. She was dressed in a short, cross over looking, halter-neck, electric blue, dress. Which was jewelled on the under side of cross over, it had a very low back with a silver strap across at bra level! Dan wore a Black suit with an electric blue Lycra V-neck top underneath, the jacket had a jewelled back yoke. Despite being in agony with back spasm injury, she was graceful, elegant & conveyed the emotion of the piece well.
Judges Scores - Louie (6.5) Robin (5) Katerina (6.5) = 18
7) Mark Rhodes & Frankie - Dancing to (Everybody Needs Somebody) From 'The Blues Brothers' Cheeky Mark, wore a black suit, white shirt, black tie, black fedora hat & black Ray-Ban's as in The Blues Brothers. Frankie was dressed the same except without the tie & with a white vest, instead of a shirt, both jackets lapels were crystal encrusted. A fun cheeky routine, with lots of energy, Mark looked more confident & is improving & is better than Corey, who has not improved at all.
Judges Scores - Louie (3.5) Robin (3) Katerina (4) = 10.5
There was a short, very painful, interval, where Christine chatted to some of the skating celebs, some who'd been on & some who were waiting to go on. Andy (Corrie's Kirk) was funny, and saved boring Christine's ass, as she was so dull & wooden & had no warmth or spark with her interviewee's, she just has no repartee with anyone, it's all so laboured & slow....... Yawn!!
8) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (9 to 5) From '9 To 5' Jorgie wore a very cute, very pretty, short sleeved, white, polka dot blouse, with a Pussycat-bow neckline & a short, multi split grey skirt & glasses & her hair up. Matt wore a white shirt, black trousers, royal blue braces, a black tie & glasses. She started off sat at a desk & typing, took off her glasses, placed them on the desk & let down her hair! A fast, fun, exciting routine, great lifts, she looked uba confident & professional & was in time with the music.
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (6.5) Katerina (7.5) = 21.5
9) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Night Fever) From 'Saturday Night Fever' Matt wore a white three piece suit, and black shirt, like John Travolta in the film. She wore a red knee length, dress, like the one in the film, with a red frill at the top (Gypsy style) Confident & classy skating with good lifts & he throws her back onto the ice well!!.... But for me, nowhere near as exciting, as last weeks performance!!
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (6.5) Katerina (7.5) = 21.5
10) Charlene Tilton & Matt- Dancing to (Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend) From 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' She wore a copy of the famous hot pink dress Marilyn Monroe wore in the film, for that number. With a fake diamond necklace attached to the neck of the flesh coloured gauze at the top of the dress, which had shocking pink armlets, the dress, skirt section, had lots of splits for movement. She also wore a peroxide Marilyn wig, which didn't suit her. Matt was in white tie & tails with a hot pink & white sash over his white waistcoat, under his black tailed jacket. A sweet routine, nice lines in the lifts, quite confident & in character.
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (4) Katerina (6) = 15
11) Sebastien Foucan & Brianne - Dancing to (Mad World) From 'Johnny Darko' He started off in a group in a hooded, black, cape & white face mask, in a formation, not unlike Queen at the start of Bohemian Rhapsody, which he flung off to reveal a skin tight, grey-blue, sparkly, Lycra, T-shit worn with black trousers. Bri wore a skimpy, floaty, grey-blue, dress, which was more or less a bikini with a bit of fabric draped over it. The routine was elegant & graceful & in time with the music but rather lack lustre & dull, I felt no connection to the performance, Sebastien wasn't emotive & he seemed like an empty, zombie like shell.
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (6.5) Katerina (6.5) = 18
12) Andy Whyment & Vicky - Dancing to (Grease Is The Word) From 'Grease' Andy wore a white T-shirt, dark jeans, a leather jacket with Andy in diamante rhinestones across the back & a chocolate brown quiff wig with sideburns. She was in a cute short, white sleeveless skaters dress. He did a good routine & had improved & looked confident on the ice, with good lifts & smooth pulls through the legs, a fun fast routine that was enjoyable to watch.
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (4.5) Katerina (5) = 14
13) Heidi Range & Andrei - Dancing to (Goldfinger) From The James Bond Film 'Goldfinger' Heidi's hair was back-combed & pulled back with a wide headband (Fembot style!) She looked very sexy in a skin-tight, light gold, sparkly, body suit, with a very low back, and gold body shimmer. Andrei was dressed like James Bond, in a black suit, white shirt, and black bow tie. She was elegant & graceful, with good speed across the ice, looking very confident!!..
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (5) Katerina (5.5) = 15.5
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom two by the judges votes was Corey Feldman & the 3 tying for 2nd place was Rosemary, Chemmy & Mark. For me it was Corey & Rosemary, as she made quite a few mistakes, with Corey going. But we will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see if the public agree!!!!
The Results Show
The results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom two SAFE are.....
So it was Lovely Mark Rhodes V Charlene Tilton neither deserved to be there as other people were worse & Mark was improving!! Corey should be there & then gone, I can't work out how he got so many votes? Unless after mentioning, that he'd been friends with Michael Jackson in his VT, meant all those obsessive MJ fans voted for him???
So it was farewell Mark, which was a shame, his personality & enthusiasm & self-deprecation will be missed.... Surely Corey has to go next week!!!????
- Corey Feldman (I'm totally shocked he was dire!!)
- Sebastien Foucan
- Chico Slimani
- Matthew Wolfenden
- Jorgie Porter
- Sam Nixon
- Heidi Range
- Rosemary Conley
- Chemmy Alcott
- Jennifer Ellison
- Andy Whyment

Dancing On Ice, Show Four
Sunday 29th Jan, The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a dark charcoal suit, a white shirt & silky charcoal tie, with a white hanky in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a pretty, simple, floor length, emerald green, V-necked, sleeveless, clingy, jersey, dress, worn with her hair down & straight, pinned back behind ears (suits her that style) Tonight's challenge is 'The Duel' Sets of evenly skill matched, Celeb duo's, will go head to head. The judges get to chose a pair from the duo to save, who then go straight through to next weeks show, the other pair goes up for the public vote!!.... 11st up in the head to head 'Duel' is Sam V Chico....
1) Sam Nixon & Alex V Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to 'Under Pressure' Both male celebs, wore white vests, with white jogging bottoms, with 2 red stripes down the side, worn with a Freddie Mercury style, yellow, satin, bomber jacket. The girls wore a white, vest like leotard. Jodeyene wore hers, with a very cute, short, white, cheerleaders skirt, with 2 red stripes running around the hem! Alex wore hers with tiny, white, shorts, with two red stripes down the sides! Both ladies wore yellow satin jackets like the boys! Both celebs moved well on the ice, but I felt Chico had the edge!
Judges save -

So Chico is safe!!
2) Sebastien Foucan & Brianne V Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to 'Addicted' Jennifer wore a very pretty, sparkly, cut out, violet dress, with a fringed skirt, worn with her hair up. Dan wore black trousers & a violet, Lycra, jewelled, V-neck top. Sebastien wore a grey/mauve, jewelled, V-neck top & black trousers. Brianne wore a matching grey/mauve leotard with a low back & a bow on the lower back. Both celebs had excellent body placement & movement, Jennifer did standing splits, he did some fun, free running moves, but for me Jennifer had the edge!!

So Sebastien is safe!!..... I'm sure Jennifer will survive the public vote though...
3) Corey Feldman & Brooke V Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to 'Opposites Attract' Chemmy wore a lovely hot pink, halter-neck, skater dress with a floaty skirt. With her hair down, long & curly. Both Sean & Corey wore jet, jewelled, black, satin, shirts & black trousers. Brooke looked pretty in a pale pink, ballerina style, tutu-ish dress, with a feather skirt. Chemmy is miles better than Corey (I bet she felt miffed to be classed the same skill level as him!!) She looked pretty & confident, Corey looked stiff, jerky & shaky surly he has to go tonight?? He should of gone last week & week 1!!
Judges save -
- Louie - Saves - Chemmy
- Robin - Saves - Chemmy
- Katerina - Saves - Chemmy
So Chemmy is safe!!... I should think so! Corey should go tonight!!
There was an interlude where Torvill & Dean danced to 'Jar Of Hearts' Then Christine proved again, how she has no chemistry or rapport with the celebs, when she interviews them!
4) Heidi Range & Andrei V Charlene Tilton & Matt- Dancing to 'Islands In The Stream' Heidi was in a pretty, short, softly draped, white dress, with a sheer, white, yoke, worn with her hair up, in a big, curly, bun. Both the guys wore black trousers, white shirts & silver belts. Charlene wore a sparkly black sequinned dress with a black fringed skirt & diamante's around the chest/shoulder area, worn with her down, in a big bouffant Hollywood style! Heidi did good lifts & cartwheel splits, Charlene did a good upside down lift & both looked confident & elegant on the ice but for me Heidi had the edge!
Judges save -
- Louie - Saves - Heidi
- Robin - Saves - Heidi
- Katerina - Saves - Heidi
So Heidi is safe!!...
5) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina V Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to '4 Minutes To Save The World' Matthew was in a silver, V-neck, Lycra, tank top & silver, satin, cargo pants, while Nina looked hot in silver Lycra leggings & a silver bra top. Jorgie was in the same but the leggings were black PVC & the black bra top leather, Matt was in a black PVC vest & black leather trousers & a silver belt. WOW what an amazing skate off duel!! You'd never know (If you didn't know them) that Matthew & Jorgie were NOT professional skaters. They were fast, confident & fearless. I had sympathy with the judges having to choose between them! I couldn't call it!!...
Judges save -
- Louie - Saves - Matthew
- Robin - Saves - Matthew
- Katerina - Saves - Jorgie
So Matthew is safe!!... Sure Jorgie is too with the public she was fearless & brilliant!!
6) Andy Whyment & Vicky V Rosemary Conley & Mark - Dancing to 'Baby It's Cold Outside' Both Andy & Mark were in black suits, white shirts & black bow ties. Both women were in electric blue dip dyed dresses which faded to white hems. Rosemary's had a lacy yoke & long lacy electric blue sleeves, with a knee length skirt. Vicky's was shorter & sleeveless, with a left shoulder strap & a diagonal strap that went from the right side & over her left shoulder. Andy is looking more confident & Rosemary didn't stumble this time, but I noticed a small mistake near the end, where it was obvious she'd forgotten what she was meant to do next. Maybe she had the edge, but Andy made no mistakes!
Judges save -
- Louie - Saves - Andy
- Robin - Saves - Rosemary
- Katerina - Saves - Rosemary
So Rosemary is safe!!...

She looked cute, she did good splits for a woman in her 50's, cute routine, and the Gaga look suited her, and she seemed to be having fun, but she still relies on Matt quite a bit, to move around.

Andrei was dressed, in a black, long sleeved, PVC top & black trousers. She was elegant & graceful, good lifts & lines, she placed her body well, with a good, faster speed across the ice too, she was looking very confident!!..

8) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (The Look Of Love) Matt wore a white blazer with wide black stripes, white trousers and a white shirt, a black belt, plus a black & white striped tie. She wore a cute, white, sleeveless dress, with a white bodice & black & white zig-zagged striped skirt & pussy cat bow at neck. Her hair was up in a kind of messy bun. Despite bad back pain Matthew gave a fast, smooth, elegant, classy performance, energetic with easily produced lifts, you would not know his back was hurting him. Very, very, professional!
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (8) Katerina (6.5) = 23
9) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Don't Stop Moving) He was in a skin tight, sparkly, silver, Lycra, T-shirt, black trousers & belt. Jodeyene was in a gorgeous, low backed, halter-neck, sparkly, silver catsuit, with her hair up in a plaited bun. An excellent, fast paced, confident, performance by Chico, he had some very lythe movements, which no doubt he used in his stripping days, he produced good strong lifts, and fluid dancing & skating, he had good lines & was very professional.
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (7) Katerina (7) = 21.5
10) Rosemary Conley & Mark - Dancing to (Perfect) She wore a sparkly, violet, long sleeved, knee length, skaters dress. He wore a matching violet, Lycra, sparkly top, with black trousers & silver belt. A graceful, elegant, performance, she was dainty, with good lines, but it felt a bit too slow a track, to be considered a pop tune! Again it wasn't an exciting routine, and I thought her feeding Mark on a chaise long, was a bit naff.
Judges Scores - Louie (4.5) Robin (5.5) Katerina (7) = 17
11) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Hit Me Baby One More Time) Jorgie was dressed, as a sexy school girl, like Brittany in the music video, with a white shirt tied to show her midriff, a short black/dark grey school skirt, a grey cardigan, black & flesh coloured tights that looked like over the knee black socks. Her hair was in two, side, plaits, tied with fluffy, hot pink, marabou, hair bands. Matt wore a white shirt, beige chino trousers, black blazer & a striped tie. A smooth, effortless, seamless, professional performance, elegant, with great moves & lifts!! The dance of the night!!
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (8) Katerina (7.5) = 24
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom two by the judges votes was Charlene & the 2 tying for 2nd place was Heidi & Sam. For me it was Sam & Rosemary, as she was quite boring. But we will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see if the public agree!!!!
So its Sam V Charlene, Charlene is 1st up & she did her routine better than the 1st time round, it was smoother with a better finish. Then it was Sam, who also improved with a smoother, more confident routine.
So it was farewell Charlene, which is a shame as she's more fun than Rosemary!!

Dancing On Ice, Show Six
Sunday 12th Feb, The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a black, very shallow, double breasted suit, a white shirt & silky, black, tie, with no kerchief in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a very plain, simple, tomato red, floor length, sleeveless, jersey, dress, with a sweetheart neckline, and a slight gentle drape fishtail from the knees. Worn with her hair down & curly, which looked quite tatty at times. Tonight's theme is 'Valentines Special' & the Celebs will be dancing to love songs!.. 1st up is Matthew Wolfenden
1) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Everything) Matt wore a black sparkly T-shirt, covered in diamante's, black trousers & a black belt. She wore a cute, black, skater dress, with a plunge back, edged in diamante's and silver spaghetti straps that crossed at the back. The bust & torso area was a mix of translucent & solid black fabric! Her hair was up in a kind of messy bun. A graceful elegant, romantic performance, nice footwork & steps, but the routine didn't excite me, preferred previous performances.
Judges Scores - Louie (7) Robin (7.5) Katerina (7.5) = 22
Christine did a boring, cold, no chemistry, no banter, interview with the celeb's (Who she still has no rapport with) it just falls flat!! Then it was back to the skating....
So its Chemmy V Rosemary, Rosemary is 1st up & she did her routine, slightly better than the 1st time round. Then it was Chemmy, who also improved with a smoother, more confident routine.
2) Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to (I'm Into You) She wore a gold lame, glittery, halter-neck skater dress. Her hair was curly & bouffant on her head & pinned back, behind her ears, in a loose ponytail. He wore a gold lame shirt, with black trousers & a gold belt. She looked lovely, nice routine & she glides across ice well, fast paced & a more exciting routine than Mats.
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (6.5) Katerina (7) = 18.5
3) Andy Whyment & Vicky - Dancing to (Lets Get It On) Yet again Andy wore a black satin, sparkly shirt, this time with pink diamante's on & black trousers carrying a red rose. She was in a pale pink, baby-doll, halter-neck, skaters dress, with thin straps that criss-crossed at the back & split side seams in the skirt. Her hair was up in a chignon with a diamante clip. He did a good, very funny, routine, with good, fast skating, & comedic hair stroke & I know you want me look to camera from Andy! Loved it!! He is getting almost as good at skating as he is at singing & acting!!
Judges Scores - Louie (5.5) Robin (5.5) Katerina (6.5) = 17.5
4) Heidi Range & Andrei - Dancing to (Wherever You Will Go) Heidi's hair was down loose & curly, she wore a gorgeous white dress, with sheer white panel between base of bra area & waist, around torso, with white floaty handkerchief skirt. Andrei was dressed, in a white, long sleeved, Lycra, high necked top & black trousers & silver belt. She was elegant, slow & graceful, but somewhat hesitant & less confident, but I'm not surprised, as she is doing a sit lift, that even the trainer 'Karen Barber' said she is too scared to do!! (Should unprofessional celebs, be doing a lift that a professional & trainer, is afraid to do??) There was a slight tremor from Heidi, as she went up into the sit lift, but she regained herself once out, but then had a slight stumble after.
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (4.5) Katerina (4.5) = 14
Then Jane & Christopher did a dance routine to 'With Or Without You' she wore a red skater dress & he wore black trousers & a black shirt with red panel's at the sides. Their routine included 2 white swathes of fabric which hung from the rafters which they used to hoist/wrap themselves with, in the stunning routine! Then it was back to the celeb's again!!...
5) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (Fever) She wore her hair in a pony tail & wore a bright red, skin tight, bosom heaving, catsuit, covered with sparkling diamante's with a low plunging back. Dan wore a sparkly, bright red, V-necked, T-shirt, black trousers & a red belt. Great lines & flexibility, graceful, elegant & sexy, good flips, lifts & spins, nice confident moves & effortless splits. Alas she was so flexible that when she tipped her head back & kicked her foot back, and sliced her boots blade into the top of her head, producing a lot of blood & her scalp having to be glued together!!
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (5.5) Katerina (6) = 19
Christine interviewed, Jennifer's partner Dan & trainer Karen Barber, after the Ad break, and it was confirmed Jennifer was OK, somehow Christine even managed to make, this injury update seem dull (Now that's a talent!!)
6) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (L.O.V.E) He was in a skin tight, mauve, sparkly, translucent, vest, with lace appliqué, black trousers & mauve, sparkly, belt. Jodeyene was in a gorgeous, low backed, spaghetti straps that criss-cross at the back, sparkly, mauve, knee length, skater dress, with a translucent sparkly torso with some lace appliqué. An excellent, fast paced, confident, performance by Chico, good strong ballet lifts, and fluid dancing & skating, nice back flip, he had good lines he was fast very professional.
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (7) Katerina (7.5) = 23
7) Rosemary Conley & Mark - Dancing to (I'll Stand By You) She wore a sparkly, hot pink, long sleeved, knee length, skaters dress, with a layered handkerchief skirt from below bust & sweetheart neckline. He wore a matching hot pink, sparkly, satin shirt, with black trousers & black belt. A graceful, elegant, performance, she was dainty, with good lines, a bit faster than normal, but I have seen no improvement in her skating from day one & it just didn't excite, I think it's time for her to go!!
Judges Scores - Louie (5) Robin (5) Katerina (5.5) = 15.5
8) Sam Nixon & Alex - Dancing to (Just The Way You are) He wore a pale mint satin shirt, black trousers & silver belt. She wore a pale mint, dress, with yet another sheer torso, in matching light mint, with a mid thigh fringed skirt! Her hair was down & curly, but it was pinned away from her face. Smooth skating, nice routine, with more speed, good lifts, spins & throws.
Judges Scores - Louie (6) Robin (6.5) Katerina (7) = 19.5
9) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Falling) Jorgie was dressed in a baby blue, baby-doll dress, with a handkerchief skirt from under the bust & thin spaghetti straps, plus silver band at waist. Her hair was up in a mini beehive with a wrapped round plait. Matt wore a pale blue, gem covered, v-necked vest top with a mandarin collar with black trousers. Yet another smooth, effortless, professional performance, elegant, with great moves & lifts, great speed & exciting to watch.
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (8.5) Katerina (8.5) = 26
10) Sebastien Foucan & Brianne - Dancing to (My Cherie Amour) He wore a skin tight, white, sparkly, Lycra, vest worn with black trousers & silver belt. Bri wore a white, halter-neck, skater dress, with a plunge back & jewelled torso. Her hair was piled up messily with a few tendrils hanging down. The routine was fast, and he attempted a splits jump, which he didn't quite pull off, OK but I found other routines much more entertaining to watch!!
Judges Scores - Louie (7) Robin (7) Katerina (7) = 21
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom two by the judges votes were Heidi & Rosemary. For me it was Heidi (due to stumble) & Rosemary, who should go, as she has got quite boring, after a promising start. But we will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see if the public agree!!!!
The Results Show
The show starts with a bland interview of the judges by Christine but I as usual tuned out when she spoke, mainly as I was drawn to the oddest of the 3 judges, Katerina Witt (Which is saying something, when Louie Spence is one of the judges) Who looked like she had a shredded tape, from a cassette tape round her neck. Her outfits are odd 99.7% of the time, her look remind's me of, comedian Sarah Burnheart crossed with 'Dragon Den's' Hilary Devey!!
The results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom two SAFE are.....

Dancing On Ice, Show Seven
Sunday 19th Feb, The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a taupe, three piece suit, a white shirt, with a collar pin & a silky, taupe, tie, with no kerchief in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a very simple, amethyst, floor length, sleeveless, jersey, dress, with a keyhole neckline, plunging to below bust, that was showing nothing but rib cage. A nice dress, it would look sexy, on someone more shapely, but Christine is very A-sexual. It had a slight, gentle drape, fishtail, from the knees (As always, it seems) Christine doesn't do much variety dress wise. Worn with her hair swept back, with no fringe, in a low bun, with drop, string of pearl, earrings. Tonight's theme is 'Ultimate Skills Test Show' they have to put 3 skills into their routine 1) a jump, 2) a spin, 3) a mirroring partner, step sequence. The three 'Celebs' in the bottom 3, will have a dance off, doing the same routine SOLO, in a routine that involves 23 step skills! 1st up is Chico Slimani....
1) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Momma Do The Hop) He was in a skin tight, amethyst, sparkly, T-shirt, black trousers & a silver, belt. Jodeyene was in a very sexy, little number, of a sparkly, fuchsia, vest top, that ties at the left hip over wet look, rubber, 3/4 black, leggings, with her hair pulled back into a pony tail! A strong, exciting, fast paced, confident, performance by Chico, good smooth jumps, lovely confident spins, and fluid dancing & skating, he had good lines, as always, he mirrored Jodeyene's steps well, he was fast very professional.
Judges Scores - Louie (8) Robin (8) Katerina (8) = 24
2) Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to (Hold On) She wore a champagne, glittery, high-neck, sleeveless skater dress, with a multi split skirt & a jewelled design over chest, shoulder and neck area. Her hair was curly & in a loose chignon. He wore a champagne, satin, shirt, with black trousers & a gold belt. She looked lovely, nice romantic routine, she moved more feminine than usual, she has found her inner girly self! She did two types of jump, her spin was good & mirroring steps OK.
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (7.5) Katerina (7) = 22
3) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (Candy Man) She wore her hair slicked back & tucked under a white, peaked naval cap. she wore a cute, short, white skater dress, with a short, full, circular skirt, under a fitted white, sailor jacket. Dan wore a khaki, G.I style naval uniform, without a jacket. You could see the nerves had got to Jennifer tonight. It was a fun, smooth, slick routine, she looked fairly confident, if a tad hesitant! Nice mirroring, nice spin & very small jump.
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (6.5) Katerina (6) = 20
4) Andy Whyment & Vicky - Dancing to (Land Of One Thousand Dances) Andy wore a pale grey-blue suit, with a lemon yellow shirt & tie. Vicky was in a white & gold, wide striped, panel, 60's style, halter-neck, dress, with knee high, shiny, gold, boots. She was in a black beehive wig with a ponytail. He did a good, fun, routine, with not bad mirroring, although he almost stumbled once! Good spin, but the jump was so small I didn't really spot it, but his timing & personality always shine through!
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (6.5) Katerina (5.5) = 19.5
Christine, gave trainer Karen, a very boring interview, Karen was wearing a a lovely, flock look, old gold & black, floral pattern, sleeveless, halter-neck look, long, dress though.
Christine, gave trainer Karen, a very boring interview, Karen was wearing a a lovely, flock look, old gold & black, floral pattern, sleeveless, halter-neck look, long, dress though.
5) Sebastien Foucan & Brianne - Dancing to (Omen) He wore a hot orange, black trimmed, vest, worn with black, leather/rubber, trousers & leather belt, with hanging hot orange chain detail. Bri looked smoking hot, in a hot orange bra under a black translucent, cropped vest, with orange diamante's on, with black rubber/leather look hot-pants. Her hair was piled back in a pony tail that seemed to have tennis balls put in then a band below all the way along the ponytail, like a row of pompom's. The routine was fast & exciting with excellent spins, good mirrored steps & decent jumps, but a bit of a stumble on the hydra blade!
Judges Scores - Louie (8) Robin (7.5) Katerina (6.5) = 22
6) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Louder) Jorgie was dressed in a turquoise blue, cropped vest, over a zebra print, leotard, over tiny, denim look, hot-pants. Her hair was down & curly with a plait hanging, amid the curls. Matt wore a white vest & pale jeans. Yet another smooth, effortless, professional performance, fun, fast, fearless & exciting to watch, great spins, lovely mirroring but surprisingly small jumps.
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (8.5) Katerina (8.5) = 25.5
7) Sam Nixon & Alex - Dancing to (Lightning) He wore a pale silver, Lycra, T-shirt, black trousers & silver belt. She wore a very sexy combo of, pail silver, tiny, shiny, hot-pants, with a matching, tiny, jewelled, shiny, pale silver, bra top. Her hair was down & curly, but pulled away from her face with twisted hair. Smooth skating, nice routine, with good speed, good spins, good in time mirrored footwork, small jump.
Judges Scores - Louie (7) Robin (6.5) Katerina (5.5) = 19
Christine did another of her boring, no chemistry interviews of trainer Karen, the woman is devoid of warmth & wit!! Then it was back to Heidi & the skating!!....
8) Heidi Range & Andrei - Dancing to (Push The Button) Heidi's hair was down loose & shaggy, she wore a very sexy, cropped red mesh, red diamante, jewelled top, with nude sleeves, with lots of red diamante's on, worn with tiny red, sequinned, hot-pants & matching red, sequinned, knee high boots. Her body looked amazing!! Andrei was dressed, in a red, long sleeved, Lycra, V-necked top & black trousers. Considering she was dancing to one of her own songs, her skating seemed very slow, laboured & somewhat hesitant, the steps were OK, but a bit awkward, the jumps tiny & the spins very, very slow.
Judges Scores - Louie (7) Robin (5.5) Katerina (5) = 17.5
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom three by the judges votes were Heidi, Sam & Andy. For me it was Heidi & Jennifer (Due to both their hesitance, tonight) & Sebastien, as it's just seeming like, free running on skates now. He is fast, but I kinda know what I'm going to get, before I get it!! I think it will be Heidi who will definitely go, as she has got quite slow & tentative on the ice, she seems to be getting worse rather than better, after a promising start, not sure who else will go? We will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see if the public agree!!!!
The show starts with a recap of the celeb's skating, with them talking about their experience after they are off the ice, then the results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom three, SAFE are.....

9) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Without You) Matt wore a hot pink, sparkly, V-neck, T-shirt & black trousers. She wore a uba sexy, barely there, cut away dress, which consisted of a tiny hot pink bra, with a tiny hot pink fringed skirt, joined together, with hot pink & silver, spaghetti straps around the torso, coming from a large, diamante'd diamond in the centre of her torso. Her hair down with hot pink, clip in extensions, along the bottom. A exciting, fast, routine, nice mirroring footwork, brilliant, exciting, spins, and great jump.
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (9.5) Katerina (9.5) = 28

So the Ultimate Skills Challenge skate off is between Chemmy, Heidi & Sebastien. Hmmm seem's the viewers feel the same as me re Sebastien!! They all had to do the 23 skill stepped routine, to the slowed down 'Dancing On Ice Theme Tune' which was pretty naff & dull, they could of picked a better choice of music!! First up to dance solo is Chemmy who must have the extra nerves of going 1st!!
Chemmy - She did a good job, and did all expected steps, remembering her routine & performing it well!!
Sebastien - He was doing really well, with good strong lines, right up to the part, where he was meant to do a double spin & then he fell apart, totally forgetting what came next in the routine, skating aimlessly round the rink looking lost & then finishing in the spotlight in his final stance. He was devastated, he came off the ice I with head in hands wept!
Heidi - She remembered the whole routine, but it was slow, laboured & awkward, she seemed hesitant & painfully slow & unsteady at times & her face looked like a rabbit in the headlights!!
The judges unanimously saved Chemmy, if Sebastien's memory hadn't failed him, I think it would of been close, between the two athletes!! But it was definitely time for Heidi to go!!

Dancing On Ice, Show Eight
Sunday 26th Feb, I was out on Sunday so had to watch on ITV iPlayer oh dear what a bad site that is unlike 4oD & other catch up sites, like 5 On Demand!! The picture was grainy, and it constantly stopped & buffered, or just stopped then came on again. Also the show & adverts played at same time, with the sound of show, cutting through the Sound & image of the adverts, and then at times jumping back to the start again, mid show!!! ITV Sort your site out!! Also the images of dancing were slow & jerky, like watching in an old fashioned film reel, making, the critique even more difficult!! I NEVER have this problem, with 4oD or 5 On Demand, which I watched shows on, straight after this!!
The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a black Single breasted suit, a white shirt, with a collar pin & a silky, thin, black, tie, with no kerchief in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a floor length (as always) front split, beige backgrounded, sleeveless, dress, with a square neckline, plus collar bone level scoop back. With a black velvet, flock look, floral design, on which got denser nearer the hem, until the bottom was almost all black velvet. A nice dress, it had a slight, gentle drape, fishtail, from the knees (As always) but her stomach stuck out, when she stood sideways. She is either pregnant, on her period, or had a pasta/starchy lunch. Worn with her hair down & wavy. Tonight's theme is 'Rock Music' First up is Matthew!..
1) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Don't Stop Me Now) Matt wore a red vest, with black trim & gold sparkles down the sides & black, leather, trousers, with a faux black tattoo down the side of his face & neck & on his arm. She wore a shaggy black bob wig, with red streaks & sexy, red sequinned bra, with red fringing underneath & a tiny red fringed skirt. An exciting, fun, fast & furious routine, great footwork.
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (8.5) Katerina (8.5) = 26
2) Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to (Stronger) She wore a light purple, glittery, halter-neck, skater dress, with a short skirt. Her hair was curly & pinned in a sausage like Mohawk. He wore a purple, satin, shirt, with black trousers & a silver belt. She looked lovely, she was still moving more femininely, she was fast & graceful, with lovely spins.
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (7) Katerina (7) = 21.5
3) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (Total Eclipse Of The Heart) She wore her hair in ringlets clipped back from her face. She wore a cute, short, white, sheer bodied, skater dress, with diamante's over the bust area & a short, fringed skirt. Dan wore a white, satin, shirt, with diamante's on the long sleeves, black trousers & a silver belt. Graceful & full of passion, with nice spins & nice lines in the lifts.
Judges Scores - Louie (8) Robin (7) Katerina (7) = 22
4) Andy Whyment & Vicky - Dancing to (Don't Look Back In Anger) Andy wore a pair of dark blue jeans & a black t-shirt with a sparkly silver chandelier design on the front. Vicky was in a see-through black body, with diamante's at the bust over a black bra, with short denim shorts over sheer black tights, her hair pinned up. He started off strumming a union jack covered acoustic guitar, he had good speed on the ice, nifty footwork & nice lifts, my only criticism would be, that his looks of anger, were not aggressive & looked more like looks of disappointment, or despondency!!
Judges Scores - Louie (6) Robin (6.5) Katerina (6.5) = 19
5) Sam Nixon & Alex - Dancing to (Human) He wore a slate grey, Lycra, v-necked, bejewelled, t-shirt, black trousers & silver belt. She wore a very sexy combo of, pail, silver grey, cropped, halter-neck, diamante encrusted top over a slate grey strapless bra & tiny, slate grey, hot-pants, with a matching, long, slate grey, armlets & matching thigh high, socks/stockings. Her hair was curly, but pulled away from her face with a zig-zag band. Smooth skating, nice routine, with very good speed, nice lines & decent frog lift on his poor bruised thighs.
Judges Scores - Louie (8) Robin (7) Katerina (7) = 22
6) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Bring Me To Life) Jorgie was dressed in a black, spaghetti strapped Gothic look dress with a ragged hem, knee length look boots, black fringed armlets plus, big, crimped, brushed out, hair & almost black, purple lipstick. Matt wore a black, studded, leather, waistcoat & black, leather, jeans. She starts off, sat in a throne like chair, with Matt removing the cobwebs, that covered her. Yet another smooth, effortless, professional performance, fast, passionate, emotional & exciting to watch, great neck spin too.
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (9) Katerina (9) = 26.5
7) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Money Money) He in a black vest & trousers with a spiky blonde, Billy Idol wig, plus a black kerchief tied round his biceps & a white one tied to his black belt. Jodeyene was in a black sequinned string bikini top with white edging & ties, with tiny white hot-pants, with a black, triangular, lace look print, above the centre of each leg, & a white waist sash. Worn with thick white stockings with the same reverse, triangular, black, lace print at top centre front of each leg. With her hair pulled up into a sausage like roll, ending in a ponytail. A strong, exciting, fast paced, confident, performance by Chico, fun, with lots of use of the floor/ice, good lifts & lots of energy!!
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (8) Katerina (8) = 24.5
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom three by the judges votes were Sam, Chemmy & Andy. For me it was the same three. We will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see if the public agree!!!!

The show starts with a recap of the celeb's skating, with them talking about their experience after they are off the ice, then the results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom three, SAFE are.....
So the skate off is between Chico & Sam. Hmmm I wasn't expecting Chico in the skate off!! First up to dance is Sam, who did a good routine, possibly better than his first, then it was Chico who gave it his all & excelled his previous performance & I thought to myself "Sam's gone!!"
- Matthew
- Jorgie
- Jennifer
- Andy
- Chemmy
- Robin - Saves - Chico
- Louie - Saves - Chico
- Katerina - Saves - Chico
So it was farewell Mark!! He had a good innings & to be honest it was probably his time to go!
Dancing On Ice, Show Nine
Sunday 4th March, Again I was out this Sunday so yet again I had to watch the show on ITV iPlayer, still just as bad, unlike 4oD & other catch up sites, like 5 On Demand!! The picture was grainy, and it constantly stopped & buffered, or just stopped then came on again. Also the show & adverts played at same time, with the sound of show, cutting through the Sound & image of the adverts, and then at times jumping back to the start again, mid show!!! ITV you need to sort your site out, pronto!! The images of dancing were slow & jerky, making, my critique even more difficult!! I NEVER have this problem, with 4oD or 5 On Demand, which again I watched shows on, straight after this, with no such problems!!
The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a charcoal, single breasted, three piece suit, white shirt, with a collar pin & a silky, aubergine, tie with matching kerchief in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a floor length (as always) front split, red strapless, dress, with a thin red, patent belt, it had a slight, gentle drape, fishtail, from the knees (As always) her stomach didn't stick out, tonight so I guess it was down to her period, or had a pasta/starchy lunch, last week. Worn with her hair down & straight, with a fringe swept to the left. Tonight's theme is 'Team Challenge' Jorgie's team (She picked 3 girls) V Matthews team he chose all the lads, the 3 from the winning team (Chosen by the judges) will have their scores for their individual dances doubled First up is Jorgie!..
1) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Crazy In Love) Jorgie was dressed in a cute, short, girly, yellow dress, with a jewelled see-through yellow torso, yellow lace sides & bust area & full, short, yellow feathered skirt, her hair was down & curly. Matt wore a yellow, v-neck, jewelled vest & black, trousers, with a silver belt. A fast, energetic, exciting routine, she looked gorgeous & moved seamlessly.
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (8.5) Katerina (8.5) = 26
2) Andy Whyment & Vicky - Dancing to (Suspicious Minds) Andy wore a white Elvis style, jumpsuit. With a big collar, fringed sleeves, laced up trouser legs, with fringing & rhinestones, with a big rhinestone'd belt. I am surprised they didn't give him the black quiff wig he wore for Grease number weeks ago!! Vicky was in a sexy, short, silver, mini dress, with a fringed skirt covered in large silver disc sequins, and shiny knee high silver boots. Her hair was styled, 60's style, very big & bouffant, in a Priscilla Presley style!! With a inch wide diamante hair band. It was a fun, fast, lively routine, he skated well & there was some emotion & mood in his face, but he didn't look quite moody or suspicious enough to emote the song!! I think he may go home to night, which is a shame, as I like Andy.
Judges Scores - Louie (6.5) Robin (7) Katerina (7) = 20.5
3) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Sexy & I Know It) He in a black & white zebra print trousers with a sparkly pink SEXY across the butt, plus a silver belt, he was bare chested showing off his 6 pack & biceps. Jodeyene was in a black shredded leggings with glittery knickers over the top like a cod piece, tucked into long shiny silver boots, plus a mauve jewelled bra, under a shiny, silver leather, biker jacket. With her hair pulled up into a messy sausage like roll. He started off jiggling his butt & gyrating (Male stripper style) then onto a moonwalk, which went on to a fast exciting routine, with great lifts, good skating & footwork lovely jumps & spins, really entertaining to watch!!
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (8) Katerina (8.5) = 25
4) Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to (Next To Me) She wore a Electric turquoise blue, halter-neck, skater dress the neckline & straps, edged in blue sequin's, with a short flared skirt with a 1" V of diamante's at the waist. Her hair was curly down. He wore an electric turquoise, satin, shirt, with black trousers & a black belt. She looked lovely, she was fast on the ice, elegant & graceful, with lovely spins, but her legs looked a bit ungainly in one of the lifts.
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (8.5) Katerina (8.5) = 25.5
5) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (Hurt Me) She wore her hair down, loose & curly. She wore a cute, short, black, dress with a sheer sparkly yoke & long sleeves, with a bodice shaped torso, with a short black fringed skirt, coming from a inch wide diamante band.. Dan wore a black, shirt, with jet diamante's on, black trousers & a black belt. Graceful & full of theatrics, with nice spins & nice lines in the lifts, a confident performance.
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (7.5) Katerina (8) = 24.5
6) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Dance With Me Tonight) Matt wore a sheer lilac/grey vest, with black trim & black, trousers. She wore a lilac clip in hair extensions, mixed in her hair, she wore a sexy, cut out lilac/grey dress with a sequinned bra, with a fringed skirt. An exciting, fun, fast & furious routine, great tricky footwork, smooth & effortless with great lines.
Judges Scores - Louie (9.5) Robin (9.5) Katerina (9.5) = 28.5
Then it was time for the group tasks, and Christine Bleakly had a bit of dull banter with the judges, before the 1st team hit the ice, and that first team was Jorgie's girls Team.
The Girls - Jorgie, Jennifer & Chemmy - Dancing to (Spice Up Your Life) They were in red outfits, Chemmy in a red fringed dress, Jennifer in a short skater dress with a sequinned bra area, with group leader Jorgie in a multi red & yellow, striped, bra top, with fringing below, with a matching tiny, fringed, hipster mini skirt. With red tops & black trousers for the guys. Their's was a fast, fun routine with good continuity & mirroring, good speed, timing, lifts & spins, a very enjoyable routine.
The Boys - Matthew, Chico & Andy - Dancing to (Y.M.C.A) They were all in black, except Matthews partner Nina who was in silver. Chico & Matthew wore black, leather, jeans. Matthew in the black studded waistcoat that Jorgie's partner Matt wore last week, Chico in a sheer sparkly black t-shirt & plain leather waistcoat, Andy in a black shirt with fringed sleeves & black trousers. Andy's partner was in black PVC leggings & a black crop top. Chico's partner wore a short black, fringed, skirted dress, trimmed with silver, while Matthews wore a silver bra & short silver skirt. A fast, energetic & fun routine with a nice YMCA formation with their body's at the end, but for me not as dynamic & enjoyable as the girls routine.
Then it was time for the judges to decide, decide which group won & get their scores doubled!!
- Katerina - Saved - Team Jorgie
- Louie - Saved - Team Matthew
- Robin - Saved - Team Jorgie
So the Girls scores were doubled Jennifer's to 49, Jorgie's to 52 & Chemmy's to 51, will that mean there will be no girls in the skate off later? or will the guys get extra from the public to compensate, some may not vote for the girls thinking that with double points they're safe!!
The Results Show
The show starts with a recap of the celeb's skating, with them talking about their experience after they are off the ice, then the results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom three, SAFE are.....
- Matthew
- Jorgie
- Jennifer
- Chico
So it's Andy V Chemmy (Even double points didn't save her) They both get a dull interview by Christine & then its Andy up 1st, he performed even better, but still didn't manage the Elvis moodiness though. Chemmy also skated better but her legs were still in an unladylike position in the lift, she needs to know to point her toes more! To give her more finesse!! So then it was down to the judges!
- Katerina - Saved - Chemmy
- Robin - Saved - Chemmy
- Louie - Saved - Chemmy
So sadly it was bye bye Andy, he had been a fun entertainer!!
******************
Sunday 11th March, The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a black, single breasted, three piece suit, white shirt, with a collar pin & a silky, slim, black, tie with no kerchief in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a beige 'Knee length' (For once, has she been reading my blog??) high necked, sleeveless, shift dress, with a chocolate brown design, which was not dissimilar to tiger stripes. Worn with nude high court shoes & her hair down & straight, pulled back tight off her face, 60's style, with a hair-band, with drop earrings. Neither the dress, hair style, or make-up suited her, she looked like, she could play one of the mums, of one of the girls on 'Desperate Scousewives!!' Tonight's theme is 'Dancing On Ice At The Circus' The challenge this week is 'Props Week' & 1st up with magic tricks is Chemmy.....
Dancing On Ice, Show Ten
1) Chemmy Alcott & Sean - Dancing to (Magic) Prop (Magic Tricks) She wore a tiny striped silver leotard with a ting fringed skirt at crotch, a black tailed jacket & small silver top hat facinator, a silver collar & white bow tie. Her hair was in a low bun on left side. He wore a white winged collar shirt, white waistcoat & white bow tie, black trousers & black tailed jacket. She was fast on the ice, elegant, smooth & graceful, she pulled bunches of flowers, from her cleavage, he did the appearing wand & they did a rope trick together, plus produced a string of bunting flags, she was fluid with nice lines & lifts.
Judges Scores - Louie (8.5) Robin (9) Katerina (8.5) = 26
4) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Real Wild Child) Prop (Whip & Hoola Hoop) Matt was dressed as a Ring Master, with a red tailed jacket, white shirt, red bow tie & cummerbund, with a yellow waistcoat, black Cossack like trousers, tucked into black knee high boots. She was dressed as a lion, in a beige, crushed velvet, bodysuit, with blonde curly hair extensions attached to the neckline & a mass of auburn & blonde curly clip in extensions in her hair to make a mane of hair & face paint. They speedily skated around & he cracked the whip, bursting a balloon full of confetti & she went through a hoop, but for me it was kind of boring & flat, the most exciting thing was the music, I was under-whelmed I expected more from him.
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom three by the judges votes were shockingly Jorgie followed by Jennifer & Chemmy, all the girls!! For me it was Matthew, Jennifer & Chemmy in that order. We will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see who the public agree with!!!! But I think Chemmy is gone! If she was in the bottom two last week, when she'd got double points, I think the public are obviously not behind her!!
So it was Chico V Chemmy the battle of the 'C's' Chemmy went 1st & excelled on her 1st round & then Chico who gave it his all & again excelled himself. I was sure Chemmy will be going home, then it was the judges time to save....
Sunday 18th March, The Show started with Phillip Schofield, in a chocolate brown, double breasted, suit, white shirt, with a collar pin & a silky, slim, cocoa, tie with no kerchief in top pocket. Christine Bleakley, was in a long, ivory, high necked, cap sleeved, shift dress. With a thin, black, patient, back fastening, belt, with a small bow at centre front. It had a fuller slightly fishtail, gathered skirt, from a a knee level seam. I didn't like it, it looked bulky in the fabric, it would of been better just being a knee length dress, or graduating into a fuller skirt, without the seam or gathers. It was a bad design whoever the designer was. Worn with black drop heart earrings & her hair up in a 50's bun/small beehive. The performer with the highest judges score gets a free pass into the final tonight, even before the public vote. First of the celebs up tonight is Chico.....
The Ultimate skills came next & yet again D.O.I made the mistake of making them dance their 23 discipline's to the boring slowed down version of D.O.I theme tune, which made their "Ultimate Skills" far more boring to watch!! You'd have thought they had learnt from their mistake after the 1st "Ultimate Skills" test. But obviously not!!
1) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Danced smoothly, with tons of confidence to the slow, boring, theme music. Making no mistakes & had no hesitance or problem remembering the routine the way free runner Sebastien did last time there was a "Ultimate Skills" test. Chico finished perfect bang on time, like a professional.
2) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Danced well, very elegant & graceful but went a bit off balance after a spin. She wasn't close to being as good as Chico though, I think she may go tonight!!
Judges Scores - Louie (7.5) Robin (8) Katerina (8) = 23.5 + 24 = 47.5
3) Jorgie Porter Matt - Danced a excellent, graceful, faultless routine which out shone Jennifer & even possibly Chico, but it's close!! She is so safe!
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (9) Katerina (9) = 27 + 27.5 = 54.5
With only Matthew left to go, it looks like, Chico could have his free pass to the final!!.....
4) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Danced an excellent seamless performance, with poise & grace, like a professional, only better music would of enhanced the performance!!
Judges Scores - Louie (9.5) Robin (9.5) Katerina (9.5) = 28.5 + 27.5 = 56
So Matthew pips Chico to the post, for the free ticket to "The Final" by just 0.5 points!! So now it is down to the public to chose who doesn't make it to "The Final" Chico, Jennifer or Jorgie?? Personally I think it's Jennifer's time to go!! It's a tough final/semi final, as the standard is very high this year!!
Sunday 25th March, The Show started with two operatic singers I have never seen before, singing "The Bolero" A black guy in a black suit, white shirt & thin black tie, plus a olive skinned, brunette, woman, in a hot pink, long dress, as Torvill & Dean danced "The Bolero" dressed in purple attire, akin to when they danced the original, all those years ago. Then the hosts came out, Phillip Schofield, in a black tuxedo, white shirt, with black buttons & a black bow tie with no kerchief in top pocket, yet somehow he looked less smart in that than his usual suits?!! Christine Bleakley, looked the nicest she'd looked the whole series, in a long, pale beige/nude/blush, one shouldered (Right) long dress, with a flared skirt with a front split, with the bodice gathered at the left side. Her hair was also in the best style to suit her wide square jaw, down with a slight shaggy curl, pulled back on one side behind her right ear, which wore a silver tear-drop shaped drop earring. First out to be judged by the public (The Judges marks don't count tonight) is Matthew.....
3) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Happy Day's) He wore dark blue, jeans, a white T-shirt & a black leather biker jacket, Fonzie style. Jodeyene was in a black camisole with big hot pink spots & spaghetti straps, worn with pale pink peddle pushers & a matching neck-chief, her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, with a bun like fringe at the front. He starts off putting a nickel in the jukebox that plays Happy Days, then scoops Jodeyene off the 50's diner counter, starting a fast, fun, exciting, routine, which unfortunately came a cropper, in a lift, when Jodeyene slid down when above Chico's head & nearly had a nasty fall on the ice, but they quickly regained their composure, and continued like pro's, it was a big shame, as without that faux pas I'm sure he'd of got 10's!!
2) Chico Slimani & Jodeyene - Dancing to (Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger) Prop (Bar bells, Test Your Strength machine) He was playing the strong man, in a blue & hot pink striped sleeveless leotard, with a silver edged hot pink star in the centre of abdomen & white tights, with a drawn on black curly handlebar moustache & slicked superman like hair. Jodeyene was in a matching blue & hot pink striped dress, with a puffball skirt. With her hair in a wild, frizzy, curly fuzz scraped back off her face with a hairband. Nice comedic routine, with him struggling, to pick up bar bells, that she lifted easily & his legs trembling, as he lifted a weight above his head, then they did jump routines over bar bells & weights etc, then he lifted her over his head, finishing hitting the Test Your Strength machine, with a mallet, and ringing the bell. A fun, fast, routine executed superbly!!
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (9) Katerina (9) = 27
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (9) Katerina (9) = 27
2) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Video Games) Prob (Gymnast ribbon on a wand) Jorgie was dressed in a cute, short, girly, pale pink, leotard dress, with a hot pink ribbon design on, with a short pale pink, draped area at crotch, & big pale pink bow at the back, her hair was up & curly, with hot pink swirls in it. Matt wore a white sleeveless, Lycra body suit, with a printed swirled ribbon & bow design going from waist/hip area that travels down his legs. A fast, graceful, exciting routine, she looked gorgeous & moved herself & the ribbon seamlessly, it was beautiful to watch & much more difficult than she made it look. Breathtaking!!
Judges Scores - Louie (6.5) Robin (8.5) Katerina (8) = 23
I was shocked I was expecting all 9's or 9.5's they seemed to think that the routine was boring, where as I found it stunning!!! And judging by the audience jeers they felt the same as me!!
Judges Scores - Louie (9.5) Robin (9.5) Katerina (9) = 28
I totally didn't get these high marks? Or why Louie was waxing lyrical about a routine? I found dull, I guess the fact Louie probably fancies him, makes Louie in such raptures??
5) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (You Got A Friend In Me) Prop (Squirting flower, large bucket & cases) She wore a red afro clown wig, a red clown nose & face-paint, A full skirted red & white zig-zag design dress with a white ruffle collar & small top hat. Dan wore a half green half red afro clown wig, red nose, small top hat & white tail coat over bright print trousers & top. Cute & fun, but quite slow. The being pulled around on a case, squirting flower & skating in a bottomless bucket left me a bit cold was more a mime on ice than dancing & for me felt a bit flat like Mathews did before her.
Judges Scores - Louie (8) Robin (8) Katerina (8.5) = 24.5
So that was the last dance of the night, the bottom three by the judges votes were shockingly Jorgie followed by Jennifer & Chemmy, all the girls!! For me it was Matthew, Jennifer & Chemmy in that order. We will have to wait for the results show in one hour to see who the public agree with!!!! But I think Chemmy is gone! If she was in the bottom two last week, when she'd got double points, I think the public are obviously not behind her!!
The Results Show
The show starts with Marcus Collins (Xfactor) singing his new single as the pro dancers & Torvill & Dean dance, then a recap of the celeb's skating, with them talking about their experience after they are off the ice. The results are in and its time to see who has been relegated to the bottom two, SAFE are.....
- Jennifer
- Matthew
- Jorgie
So it was Chico V Chemmy the battle of the 'C's' Chemmy went 1st & excelled on her 1st round & then Chico who gave it his all & again excelled himself. I was sure Chemmy will be going home, then it was the judges time to save....

So as I thought it was bye bye Chemmy!!

Jodeyene was in a matching transparent, baby blue, leotard dress. With spaghetti straps & jems covering the bust area, with a short fringed skirt. Her hair was worn up & back off her face. Excellent fast skating & lifts, graceful professional spins & footwork, a very romantic, elegant routine.

2) Jennifer Ellison & Dan - Dancing to (I Wanna Dance With Somebody) She wore a red & aubergine dress, with spaghetti straps & plunge back, with a aubergine body & a short aubergine & red, striped, full, short, circular skirt, with a red feather trimmed skirt hem. Her hair was down & curly. Dan wore an aubergine, translucent, v-neck, vest, with red, diamante, jems, round neckline. With matching aubergine trousers & sparkly red belt. She was dressed in a short, sheer, black, spaghetti strapped, skaters dress, with diamante's over the bust & a silver & diamante design in a V at the waist, where the skirt begins, her hair was wavy & she had black lipstick. A good fast routine, nice steps, good lifts & moves. BUT Nina made a bad exit from her head-banger when her leg came down out of it bad.
Judges Scores - Louie (9) Robin (9) Katerina (9.5) = 27.5

So I was right Jorgie won by a landslide & so it's Chico, Jorgie & Matthew in "The Final". Boy is that going to be close & exciting "Final" I think Matthew is odds on favourite to win, but both Chico & Jorgie are good enough, to give him a run for his money!!

Dancing On Ice, Show Twelve
The Final
The Final
1) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (Singing In The Rain) Matt was dressed in a slate grey tweed, single breasted 40's suit akin to the one Gene Kelly wore in the film 'Singing In The Rain' worn with a white shirt, grey tie, black fedora hat & umbrella. She was dressed in a short, short sleeved, primrose yellow, dress, with gold diamante's over the bust, with a white Peter Pan collar & sleeve cuffs. Her hair was in a wavy 40's style that aged her 20yrs. A great, fast routine, starting off under the rain, nice steps, including tap!! Good use of all the ice with lovely lifts & spins, good chorography & twirling & throwing of umbrella!!
Judges Scores - Louie (10) Robin (10) Katerina (10) = 30
2) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (Fame) Jorgie was dressed in a very skimpy, red leotard, with spaghetti straps, plus a plunge back, under a red, hooded, jogging top, with white trimming. She wore red leg warmers & glittery rainbow eye-shadow. Her hair was down & curly with a red sweatband round her forehead. Matt wore a red vest top, with black, sparkly, Lycra leggings, a read sweatband around his head plus a red hooded jogging top, the same as Jorgie's. They started off with a bit of banter & then threw their jogging tops on the floor by the side of the rink, as the 'Fame' theme tune built up. A Fast, fun routine, with great speed & lifts, but not much solo skating, unlike Matthews.
Judges Scores - Louie (10) Robin (9.5) Katerina (9.5) = 29
Judges Scores - Louie (9.5) Robin (9.5) Katerina (9.5) = 28.5
Next the three remaining celebs did their favourite routine from the show & again 1st up was Matthew, who chose his routine from Rock Week, in show 8, on February 26th......
Again a exciting fast routine, even slicker, than when they did it, 4 weeks earlier, with excellent lifts, turns & spins, with very fast skating. Nina's body is amazing, but she has a rather old face, not sure if she is mature with an amazing body or just has a old looking face?

That's 2.5 higher than the 26 points they got the 1st time they did that routine. Next up was Jorgie who chose her routine from the Valentines show in Week 6 on February 12th....
With her hair pulled up into a bun at the back to go with the bun like fringe at the front. He started off jiggling his butt & gyrating (Male stripper style) then onto a moonwalk, which went on to the fast exciting routine, there was no show of nerves after the earlier mishap, with great lifts, as well as excellent, fast, professional skating & confident footwork, lovely jumps & spins, it was really entertaining to watch!!

Her hair was up in a mini beehive with a wrapped round plait. Matt wore a pale blue, gem covered, V-necked vest top with a mandarin collar with black trousers. Yet another smooth, effortless, improved, professional, performance, very elegant, with great moves & lifts, great speed & exciting to watch. In the 6 weeks since she last danced it, she has become an even stronger skater, and it showed

That's a perfect score for Jorgie & 4 points higher than she got when she did the routine the 1st time round, 6 weeks ago, so now it's Chico's turn, lets hope he has no faux pas this time round, he chose his bare chested routine from week 9 on 4th March (I thought he might!!)

So Chico got a well earn't perfect score of 30 (All 3 have at some point tonight) which is 5 points more than he got when he did the same routine 3 weeks ago!! But tonight the judges scores mean absolutely nothing & it's all down to the public vote, as to who goes through, to dance their version, of the iconic 'Bolero' in the results show!! I think it will be Matthew & Jorgie, in the 'Bolero' Skate-off, with Matthew winning!!! I'd rather like it to be Chico & Jorgie, with either winning, as Matthew has been odd on favourite to win from day one!!

The Results Show
The show starts with them talking about their experience after they are off the ice, plus Christine's bland chat with the judges. Then the results are in and its time to see who has been denied the chance to dance "The Bolero" Safe are.....
- Matthew
- Jorgie
So as I expected poor Chico came 3rd (I wonder if that near fall sealed his fate or not??) But he could leave with his head held high as he did amazingly well, especially as he was a last minute stand in for Chesney Hawks who broke a bone in training for the show & had to pull out! So Chico & Jodeyene left the ice in their 'Bolero' outfits, Chico in a transparent purple T-shirt, black trousers & gold belt, Jodeyene wore a skimpy, spaghetti strapped dress with a purple bust area & mauve torso with a gold fringed mini skirt. So 1st up with their interpretation of 'The Bolero' was Matthew & Nina...
1) Matthew Wolfenden & Nina - Dancing to (The Bolero) Matt wore a transparent V-neck, purple T-shirt, with blue diamante's over body & around V neckline, black trousers & a sparkly blue belt. She wore a skimpy spaghetti strapped, leotard dress, with a tiny, purple, oversized sequin, skirt. With a purple extension plaited into her hair & dark purple lipstick, which was too harsh for her features, aging her again! They did an excellent, fast, passionate even aggressive at times performance, that was compelling to watch.
Louie - Said it was superb & beautiful and that they had made 'The Bolero' their own!
Robin - Said it was technically the hardest 'Bolero' danced by a celeb in the final.
Katerina - Said their performance was Mesmerising!!
2) Jorgie Porter Matt - Dancing to (The Bolero) Jorgie wore a purple spaghetti strapped dress with a short floaty, chiffon petal like skirt, with her hair in a bun, with a plait going round her head, with some purple hair plaited in, plus mauve lipstick. Matt wore a sheer purple vest top & black trousers with a sparkly belt. A beautiful, romantic, graceful, elegant, slower, emotive 'Bolero' with beautiful lines & stunning lifts & skating, very emotional & she looked like a beautiful doll.
Louie - He was very emotional & almost in tears, saying she'd out done herself!!
Robin - Said her performance was Beautiful!!
Katerina - Said it was a great performance & very passionate!!
So that was it, it was now down to the public to vote for their winner while DOI showed a recap of their performances tonight, then brought out all the past contestant's most of whom I'd forgotten about!! Then there was a VT where they all spoke of their experiences of being on DOI followed by Torvill & Dean talking about the show this year. Then the lines were closed and Philip stood on a podium in the middle of the ice with the winners trophy and Jorgie, Matthew & their partners either side of him. The votes were in & the winner was......................................
Unsurprisingly Matthew (I kind of hoped it was Jorgie) I bet it was damn close!! So that's this years show, wonder if next years contestants can match this years standard?? We will have to wait & see!!
